hello everyone! =D i took a long hiatus from blogging because my thoughts have been in a mess. this has been a chaotic, not to mention hectic, two weeks for me.
studies and climbing occupied most of my conscious mind.. then again keeping my motivation high while my forearms were injured was not so much a tough thing to do cos i deceive myself easily =) gotta stop that now though! or my studies will get affected even more.. HA.
(watching America's Next Top Model's first ep where they are taking their nude photos makin me blog darn slowly xD now i aint complaining, just saying. haha)
proceeding to talk about the competition.

thanks to all who came down to support us! the year ones, year 2 gals, nicholas and weilin! =))
14th out of 120.
but only the top 10 qualified for the finals.
sad, disappointed, pissed. these are emotions i've come to be very familiar with. but in climbing, i realise, these feelings are very much more self-induced when u think negatively than when in other situations when negative situations really arise.
the higher the expectation on yourself, the greater the negativity. in this competition the only disappointment i had was that i did not go all out. a mental weakness on my part.
enough about me anw.
i think tj climbers did really well this time according to the feeling i got among the climbers after the competition. i apologise for having been a lil whiny bout my 4 places to the finals. haha..
don't worry if u feel u didn't do well enough this time. after all it is our FIRST competition only! pumpfest and rockmasters will be our next obstacles. if u are having disappointments, forget them! train hard from now =) we will reach standards we never thought possible of ourselves.
after the comps i played battlefield 1942 with the climbing guys. imagine 14 guys slugging it out in a conquest match and shouting at each other. ernest the ass ran over me with a tank. chicken managed to air strike my tank =(( leong heng took me on a hell ride in a jeep. i flew a plane and jumped out not knowing how to open a my parachute zzz. but i managed to get 4 silver medals and 1 bronze medal after all the battles so i'm quite proud of myself =D
hope to post some pictures soon! or it'll be too boring. if u have some pictures of me do tell me! wish i had told someone to take make sure they took pics of me. shu hui! u didn't help me take any! snottypole! =(
